Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her guidance and motivation to improving South African Social Security Company (SASSA) providers in the course of an engagement with the company's senior supervisors at a strategic preparing session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled from the 2024 matric examinations.
From the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing eighty one% on the registered pupils inside the education sector.
These learners obtained a commendable pass rate of 86%.
